Villagers informed of village affairs

Eight representatives of Huangtuba Village in Xiahuaqiao Town of Hunan's
Shaoyang City were checking the accounts of village affairs and the
invoices of newly appointed village officials on Jan. 9, 2006. People's
congress and discipline inspection and supervision department of the town
started overall assessment of newly appointed officials at the year's end
and had the villagers directly supervise and check the expenditure of
village officials, which enhanced the publicity of their work and
satisfaction from the villagers.
