The investment promotion delegation of Chaoyang City in Northeast China's
Liaoning Province displayed their "national treasure" Confucius bird
fossils to Suzhou citizens on April 27. Confucius bird fossils were
discovered in Chaoyang City. They formed about 150 million years ago in
the Late Jurassic and the Early Cretaceous and are reputed as "dagoba" of
birds together with the precious fossils of Sinosauropteryx by
paleontologists and fossil collectors.
